• Sensitive is moisture resistant, not waterproof. In wet area applications (shower recesses), a waterproof membrane to AS3740 is still required over the board before tiling.
• Paint promptly after installation — the antifungal agent extends into the paint layer, so leaving the board unprimed and unpainted for extended periods reduces its protective effect. • In commercial change rooms and kitchens, install with recessed edge joints taped and filled before tiling or painting — the board is not a tile backer in the way that fibre cement is, so tiling requires a waterproof membrane system.
