Access Panels

Whether you need a standard Access Panel, or a specialised architectural panel, PANTHER® Access Panels are the perfect choice.

Designed and tested to meet the requirements of the Building Codes of Australia and New Zealand for both domestic and commercial installations, our standard range features sound-rated, fire-rated and metal-face budget access panels that can be installed in both steel stud and masonry walls and suspended ceiling systems. Although the panels come in standard sizes, custom sizes can be ordered.

Top Hats

Rondo Top Hats can be used internally or externally and on vertical fascias and soffits. They are often used where there is a higher wind loading or where heavy duty sheeting is to be installed.

Steel Angles can be used to strengthen internal corners of façade systems and steel framing requirements for facade systems.

Reveal Beads

We supply Reveal Beads in a variety of widths that offer a strong, straight and clean finish to window openings that require internal trimming.

Rondo MAXIframe external wall framing

MAXIframe is Rondo's light-gauge steel system for external wall construction, released in 2011 and now used on apartment and commercial projects across Australia and New Zealand. It takes the standard Rondo 92mm stud as its main framing member and adds two profiles , MAXIjamb® and MAXItrack® , plus three cleats.

What the two profiles change

• MAXIjamb carries more load than a regular wall stud, so boxed or back-to-back stud configurations around openings are no longer needed. It is rolled from hi-tensile steel, 1.2 BMT G500, and works as a vertical jamb member or as a horizontal head and sill in a window opening.
• MAXItrack is slotted along the flanges to allow for vertical building movement and makes a positive connection between stud and deflection head. That connection has greater capacity than a traditional deflection head, so the nogging track normally sat 100mm below the head track can be left out altogether.
